hello! i'm back from what feels like a long hiatus from lj. i'm finding that a lot of my old friends are now inactive/gone from lj. so i'm looking to meet some new friends. i always find this part weird in writing an intro about myself in add me communities - i feel like i'm trying to sell myself, so let's see if that minor in marketing does me any good...

my name is salina, but my friends call me sasa or just sa. i am 27 years old, chinese, born and raised in san francisco, california. i usually write about random observations from my daily life. i just got accepted to grad school for next fall and i will be attempting to get my masters in library science/library management. but don't let that fool you into thinking i'm this quiet mousy, librarian type. i'm loud, oustpoken, sarcastic and brutally honest. i listen to all types of music, but 80s music has a special place in my heart. i miss vh1 when it didn't have all these crazy dating shows and when pop up videos was still on the air. i am a fan of all joss whedon shows. i am a tv freak and though, most of MY shows are off air now, i am currently subscribing to: house, bones, fringe, glee, dollhouse, castle, supernatural. i enjoy going to see musicals and shows when the pocketbook permits. i am a people person; i love hanging out with my friends, going to the bar, sing k, watching movies or football games with them. i play fantasy football. :O i do go clubbing, but always feel so old when i'm there and mostly cuz i'm SO sore the day after. lol.

I've recently come back to LJ after straying to personal domains for a couple of years and to my dismay discovered that most people I used to read followed suit and moved away from LJ after me, leaving me with very few people to read and comment on. *sniffle* Cross-posted to two communities. *nod*

My name is Jonna, I'm 25, Finnish, agnostic, former teenage cybergoth & present day RL gnome warlock. Spoken for, no children, owned by three Russian Blue mixes (that is, cats), somewhat in control of six hermelin-lionhead cross rabbits and one boyfriend. I'm a Virgo, although I don't represent my star sign very well. I'm a perfectionist and overly critical, but lack the typical neatness and other more useful traits of the sign. :D One could call me very bohemian, and I'm extremely free-spirited and open-minded. I am a bipolar ACoA and also have an anxiety-panic disorder but I try to live a life as normal as possible. I can be a tad immature at times. I'm also somewhat neurotic. In Sims terms, I would make my five traits Neurotic, Clumsy, Insane, Coward and Never Nude. I am a customer service/marketing graduate of 2004, currently on unwanted disability due to aforementioned bipolarism and related issues.

Video games (real-time strategy, adventure, fighting games & role-playing, photography, drawing/doodling and singing, also dabbling in writing every now and then. Any actual talent in those fields is questionable. :D I enjoy watching soap operas -- the soapier the better -- and brainless action movies. Not a fan of epic dramas like Titanic, they just make me... sleepy.

Not so much ♥...
People who think they're always right annoy me quite a lot. I also can't claim to enjoy reading about peoples' sex lives as I feel such things should be kept private or at least filtered so everyone doesn't have to read about the details of your interactions with your partner of choice. *shrug* Don't watch TV too much as I feel current "popular" series are quite... been there, seen that.
